Accumulation table
The conveyor accumulation table is very useful during a machine stoppage, either to continue feeding a machine downstream, or, to enable a machine upstream to continue producing.
The table cycle is as follows:
- In a normal cycle, the conveyor adjacent to the table operates on its own.
- When accumulation backs up on the conveyor, cans spill over onto the table.
- This then switches on to evacuate the cans.
- When accumulation at the conveyor outfeed stops, the table transfers the cans to the 90° realigner conveyor.
